Titlul unei rubrici pe un sit Web (care promoveaza un produs). Navigand pe internet, fiecare ne-am intalnit de sute (mii?) de ori cu acest termen. Cum se traduce mai bine?
Glosarele ProZ sugereaza
NEGARE; TĂGĂDUIRE; ACT DE RENUNTARE (JUR.); REPUDIERE; PERSOANĂ CARE RENUNTA, dar nici una din aceste solutii nu mi se pare optima. Cred ca e vorba mai mult de o delimitare fata de posibile reclamatii (dis-claim), nu de negare / respingere.
Ar merge oare "Limitele raspunderii"sau "raspundere limitata"? Un avocat bun ar putea sustine ca, daca exista niste limite, inseamna ca exista inerent o anumita raspundere initiala, care trebuie determinata etc., etc.
Sunt prolix, va rog sa ma scuzati.

La fel de potrivit mi se pare "Conditii de utilizare" (pentru o pagina Web).

Multumesc mult tuturor, a fost interesant. Am intarziat cu alegerea pt. ca am intrebat si 2 romani care lucreaza (de 5-10 ani) in US, resp. UK, dar nu sunt traducatori. Ei au sugerat Precizari legale, lasarea termenului ca atare, ceva cu Negare, Limite ale responsabilitatii / raspunderii (sau (De)Limitare a...).
Toate raspunsurile de la ProZ mi se par bune, dar am ales Precizari legale din 2 motive: poate fi inteles de oricine si este foarte universal (merge aproape oriunde).
Nici Limitare a responsabilitatii nu mi se pare rau, dar parca nu e la fel de universal si pare cam... lemnos.
