Multumesc tuturor pentru ajutorul in elucidarea acestui termen. Cert este ca toate raspunsurile sunt corecte in anumite dimensiuni ale lor. Am ales acest raspuns, fiind mai ancorat in realitatea romaneasca. Din investigatiile proprii deduc ca exista contabili autorizati, care pot functiona independent sau angajati si exista experti contabili (se subintelege ca si acestia sunt autorizati) dar acest lucru nu apare in titulatura lor. Expertii contabili obtin acest titlu in urma unui curs si examen suplimentar. Vezi si http://www.totalconsult.ro/index-6.htm
Functiile si responsabilitatile lor sunt cele desccrise in raspunsurile date de Corin si Raulciceu, carora le multumesc. In plus acestia sunt membri ai asociatiei de Chartered management accountants.

  -> eu nu am intalnit pana acum termenul "contabil de gestiune", dar daca tu spui ca exista...
agree  Tehno: expert contabil autorizat. Din definitia lui Andrei (care e cea corecta si folosita in Romania) nu reiese atestarea / autorizarea (chartered). Management Accountant inseamna in fapt "expert contabil" si nu contabil de conducere. Vezi si www.cima.org.uk

Management accounting (contabilitatea de gestiune) este o disciplina diferita de contabilitatea propriu-zisa, contabilii de gestiune fiind implicati in mod activ in crearea strategiilor si conducerea unei companii.

Chartered management accountants provide the financial information necessary for the planning and control of organisations and commercial companies. They establish and maintain financial policies and management information systems, as well as liaise with management colleagues on all aspects of finance.


Typical work activities include:

- preparing periodic financial statements including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cashflows, variance analysis and commentaries;
- investigating and developing systems of internal control and conducting internal audits;
- managing income and expenditure, sales, payroll and stocks;
- negotiating for major projects loans and grants;
- liaising with other function managers to put the finance view in context.

  -> Si cum ii spunem lui "management accountant'? Sint de acord cu Tehno (mai sus) ca nu merge "contabil de/prentru conducere". Faptul ca aceasta categorie nu este "autorizata" in Romania m-a facut sa ma limitez la "contabil de gestiune", termenul incetatenit

Ca exista contabililate de gestiune etc. nu contesta nimeni dar este "alta ceva".

Tovarasul detinind acest titlu este un super-specialist in planificarea pe termne lung a diverselor activitati de conducere, privite din punct de vedere al echilibrului dintre cheltuieli si efecte.
