нет, не в обоих.
В первом случае речь идет об увеличении диаметра шаровой опоры, во втором - об увеличении наконечника рулевой тяги (думаю, увеличении его длины, т.к. этот наконечник имеет вид такой втулочки, надеваемой на рулевую тягу).
И у рулевой тяги нет шаровой опоры.
