нюанс: заказчики и (постоянные) клиенты
в финансовом английском имеется различие между customer и client. Если не вдаваться в подробности, то первые - это те, кто случайно или первый раз покупают товар или услугу, а вторые - это постоянные заказчики. Для них существуют различные условия, клиенты имеют право на "индивидуальный" подход. Существует и еще более узкое деление в маркетинге (но все это может зависеть от трактовки автора учебника, поэтому не претендую на истинность): не-пользователь услуг - потенциальный покупатель - покупатель - пользователь/абонементный покупатель/клиент с различным статусом
