1. Each master gate comes with an external wall mounted 24v power supply with a 10m length of 24v cable, a short length of 240v mains cable, and a wall cover moulding.
2. The short 240v cable from the power supply needs to be directly wired into the fused switched spur in the wall. The 24v power supply is to be situated underneath the spur, and so a hole may need to be cut into the conduit to allow the 240v cable to be threaded in and up into the fused spur.
3. This procedure may need to be modified if the spur and conduit are surface mounted. Here the conduit will need to be cut either side of where you intend placing the cover moulding, and corresponding conduit size holes need to be drilled in the top and bottom of the cover moulding.
4. The 24v power cable should be threaded into the wall conduit through the same cut hole as above, and threaded down through to the master gate.
5. Cut the cable to length and wire the twin core onto the power distribution board. (connections labeled 24v input)
6. Place the wall cover moulding over the power supply underneath the isolation switch and mark the fixing holes. Drill into the wall and insert rawl plugs.
7. The ***kettle lead of the power supply can then be connected to the 24v power supply and the cover fixed via wall screws.
