Но мы не можем быть уверены, что полы в квартире тоже выложены мозаикой. Поэтому я написал бы просто, что "полы выложены плитами из натурального камня цвета слоновой кости" или что-то в этом роде.

Although I ended up using a similar translation to what you suggested, it doesn't really throw any light on what "patika" is. The translation from Turkish seems a bit far-fetched, especially when you google images of ivory patika.
