Asker: Насчет premises я поняла. Нет, об исследованиях речь вообще не идет. Перед этим говорится об инспекции помещений Исполнителя: Y is entitled, at any time during the performance of the Works, to perform audits or inspections of CONTRACTOR’s premises, including subcontractor’s premises upon five (5) calendar days' prior notice, and to this effect the CONTRACTOR undertakes to provide Y with all the documents it possesses in relation to the Works, as well as to ensure the co-operation required to facilitate the audit.

Asker: Исследование - это первое, что приходит в голову, но по контексту совем не вяжется.

Asker: Я отталкивалась как раз от "кабинетов", но захотелось как-то более обобщенно сказать. Вроде "инспекция рабочих помещении на территории Исполнителя". Спасибо, что подтвердили мою догадку!
