English term or phrase: vaccutainer
What's the Russian for this word and what does it look like? See it in the context ( it's a story of one mother who delivered her baby at home):
After my son was born we cut the cord after a few minutes and collected blood into vaccutainers to be taken to the lab to be tested.
Many thanks.

Explanation:
Vacutainer is a plastic tube for transportation of blood samples.
Most of the tubes utilize conventional stoppers. Tubes with a HEMOGARD® closure include a plastic shield designed to help protect against contact with blood on the stopper, around the outer rim of the tube and against blood splattering when opening tube. The rubber stopper is
recessed inside the plastic HEMOGARD® shield so any drops of blood left by a collection needle remain isolated from contact. Various additives possible to prevent blood coagulation (glycerine, citrate, oxalate etc). Siliconized or not, may be centrifugated for further sample processing.

Since Vacutainer is a trade mark (see http://www.bd.com/vacutainer/) I would translate it as пробирка "Vacutainer" or пробирка "Вакутейнер" or the same with the word "флакон", since there are vacutainers for 1,4,7, 10 and more ml and those larger ones could be rather called "флаконы"

вакуумная пробирка для сбора крови

Explanation:
vakuumnaya probirka dlya sbora krovi

The blood container of this type is still relatively new in the former USSR. There are numerous English examples in the Internet of how it looks, etc., but the related Russian term is not found anywhere.

I asked a doctor, and he proposed this term "vakuumnaya probirka dlya sbora krovi". We also verified it with one of his native Russian-speaking colleagues, whose direct job is blood sampling.

Regards.
