na | Приветствуем тебя дома, Максим |

Приветствуем тебя дома, Максим Explanation: I agree with two previous answers, "welcome" is a common expression to greet guests. The most widespread Russian equivalent is "добро пожаловать (dobro pozhalovat)" but it could be said "милости просим (milosti prosim)". In this case we have a little boy who enters his new home. I think that it is too complicated phrases for little boy. It will be easer for him to read something like "приветствуем тебя дома, Максим (privetstviyem tebya doma, Maxim)". A agree that it will be better to use Russian equivalent of the name and to call him Maxim to give him time to adjust to so many changes. And from my point of view do not specify that this is his new home. It will be better for him to feel like he just back home from a long trip. |
