translation

Explanation:
I sometimes get as impression (like in this case) that some translation agencies just try to get small jobs done for free. If you are a translator who needs help with the word "translation" - then you should not be a translator. If you are an agent who wants to skip using paid translator's services - then this ProZ servoice is not for you.

perevod

Explanation:
"Translation" in any case could be said in Russian as "Perevod";
anyway, you could send me your piece, and I will supply the Russian translation.

Do you have Cyr. fonts installed? Or should I send you it as a picture?
Good luck,
Veronica.

письменный пере&

Explanation:
This word in Russian is used BOTH for "translation" and "interpretation", so in case you need to translate the term itself or if it is unclear from the context, you should translate it as "written translation" ("pismenny", "письменный" stands for written,"perevod","перевод" - for "translation").

perevod

Explanation:
I could help you more with a little bit more context.

Also, as you of course understand, it should be in cyrillic. Proz does not accept cyrillic, so, if you need, I can e-mail it to you in Word.

Perevod

Explanation:
For the moment it's the only meaning I would give. Anyhow, to know it for sure a more specific context is required.

/perev`od/

Explanation:
The most common translation of the word "translation" is "perevod" (from one language into another, etc.). However, depending on the context it can be translated as "translyatsiya" (program translation, radio translation), "preobrazovaniye", "pereschet" (translation from one unit of mesurement into another).
