Never hesitate to post "disagree" even to an answer that is the least adequate of all!
For those who'd like to improve their literacy in technical English:
впускной патрубок = inlet port = intake port
is a common term that means a part of internal combustion engines,
as illustrated in
http://www.motorera.com/dictionary/IN.HTMhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cylinder_head_portinghttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manifold_(automotive)and pumps, see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Axial_piston_pumpIt has no relation to chemical injection (where injection quills are used)
What's more, the function of "впускной патрубок" as such has nothing to do with injection of any kind at all!
The introduction into the glossary is even more laughable than in a previous instance
http://www.proz.com/kudoz/english_to_russian/tech_engineerin...because at least "впрыскиватель" matches "injection" in that one
P.S. What's really puzzling:
How can a simple guess with a confidence level of 3 - and without any explanation whatsoever (for the obvious reason that none could possibly be found) - be accepted based on peer agreement or taken for an answer?
