Размерности /такие-то/ из чего -из "номера размерности совместимого массива" ? из "размерности совместимого массива номер /такой-то/"? (но как это - 2 размерности из одной размерности?). или из "совмесимой размерности массива"? Короче, я в смятении...
И в чем смысл, что в результате всего этого совместимого (conformant) они несовместимы (incompatible)?

Если у этих массивов размерность больше 1, то здесь говорится следующее: в такой-то размерности (последнее %i), их длины не совпадают. Вследствие этого запрещено присвоение копирование одного массива в другой. ИМХО.
