Ja koliko znam Gillette nikada nije proizvodio karmine, maskare, šminke, itd. Osnovna delatnost ovog brenda je održavanje lične higijene (koja se vrši u kupatilu, otuda i toaletry termin u engleskom jeziku), a napoznatiji su po svojim brijačima. E sada, što su u brijače stavili razne dodatke za omekšavanje, hidrataciju, itd. kože, to je samo jedan dodatni plus u celoj priči marketinga.
