Koliko sam uspeo da saznam na Internetu i KudoZ-u, ovaj termin se uglavnom koristi u brodogradnji (kao naziv jednog dela jarbola) i u novinskom izdavaštvu (u značenju "impresum").
Meni je, međutim, potreban prevod koji bi bio prikladan za oblast ugradnje satelitskih antena. Radi se, naime, o osloncu satelitske antene, koji na sebi ujedno sadrži elemente za podešavanje antene u horizontalnoj i vertikalnoj ravni.
Padaju mi na pamet termini poput "zglobni oslonac" ili "glavčina", ali ni sa jednim nisam u potpunosti zadovoljan, te bi mi svaka pomoć više nego dobrodošla.

Explanation:
Na osnovu slika na 1. i 2. Internet referenci, "masthead" bi mogao da se prevede kao "stub (jarbol)" jer mu je funkcija da nosi celu konstrukciju.

Na 2. Internet referenci postoji izraz "masthead cap" koji je preveden na nemački kao "Abdeckkappe" (zaštitni poklopac). Međutim, izraz "mast" je upotrebljen za "stub" na čijem se vrhu nalazi "masthead cap". Možda u konkretnom slučaju postoji "glava za podešavanje na stubu", ali to nije jasno bez slike.
