English term or phrase: Terms in a diploma
IN a permanent record of a Student from Mt. Pleasant Community High School (Iowa – USA), it says:
Accreditation: “North Central Association” (this is the name of the association, I guess, but I would like to know what kind of Association is).-
Date graduated and date of transcription: (i.e. date of graduation but what about transcription, I think it is date on which graduation is recorded, isn´t it?)
Rank and number in class: (number of students in that class and by rank, you mean level???
Among the subjects listed, we find: CONCERT CHOIR (does it mean choir in concert or concert and choir –including both activities) and IND. READING (IND.: individual???).-
After the listening of subjects, the following abbreviations appear: CUR: 3.300 CUM: 3.600 AND ABS: 15 can you help me with them???

Karina: You can find about the North Central Association at their web site:

The date of the transcription is not always the same as the graduation date, so you can put them apart from each other. The "rank" refers to the place or academic level (as you said) of the student in reference with his/her class. Concert Choir is Coro en Concierto, la clase se basa en las técnicas de presentación.
IND. READING se refiere a Lectura Independiente.
CUM es la abreviación usada para el expediente acumulativo del estudiante.
Espero le sean de utilidad.
