see explanation Explanation: I don't know if there's a translation (other than the "bono flor" suggested by Routledge, which doesn't cross-check on Google) or if it has to be explained. Here's what it means: bonos del tesoro aceptados a la par después de la muerte del titular (also from Routledge) One such method is through the use of "flower bonds." Also known as "tax eligibles," they are issues of U.S. Treasury Bonds that may be redeemed at par (face amount) on the date the taxes are due, together with interest accruing from the last coupon payment date through the date of payment of the tax. This is regardless of market value at the time of the decedent’s death and regardless of original cost. (http://www.financialstrategies.com/encyclopedia/legal/estate... bonos del Tesoro de Estados Unidos Explanation: ... /estadouniense / de (los) E.E. U.U. TREASURY (FLOWER) BONDS Occasionally, an executor is faced with the prospect of administering an estate that consists largely of assets that cannot be readily converted into cash for payment of the estate taxes. A carefully formulated estate plan will take into consideration the amount of taxes that will result and provide an executor with several options for payment. One such method is through the use of "flower bonds." Also known as "tax eligibles," they are issues of U.S. Treasury Bonds that may be redeemed at par (face amount) on the date the taxes are due, together with interest accruing from the last coupon payment date through the date of payment of the tax. This is regardless of market value at the time of the decedent’s death and regardless of original cost. .... http://www.financialstrategies.com/encyclopedia/legal/estate...
