LD es el acrónimo de Dosis Letal. Lo que el texto quiere decir es que el 50% de ratas que tomaron 5400 mg de la sustancia por cada kg de peso de la rata murió por los efectos toxicológicos. Así es como lo suelo traducir yo: LD50 oral 5400 mg/kg en ratas
