¿Para dónde es la traducción? Mirá esto: http://www.puertoricanmarket.com/Sweet-Peppers-Pimientos-Mor... En Puerto Rico, entonces, les llaman "pimientos morrones".
Según mi sentido común, se refiere a dos clases diferentes de ajíes/chile que son recomendables para la receta en cuestión. La palabra exacta va a depender del lugar de destino. Por ejemplo, en Buenos Aires, Argentina nunca escuché decir "chile" sino "ají".
