I was going north, they were coming south, and I believe when they took the turn on the corner they crossed over and we just caught center and ran the rear tail lamp truck light it was a flat end and just toured to the center of my car.
Mi interpretación:
Yo iba hacia el norte, ellos venían hacia el sur y creo que al tomar la curva en la esquina se cambiaron de carril y los centramos y le dimos a la calavera trasera del camión y este giró hacia el centro de mi coche.
No acabo de dilucidar cómo estuvo este asunto. Gracias por la ayuda.

…y cuando dieron la vuelta en la esquina se me cruzaron y coincidimos justo en el centro y le choqué (me llevé) la calavera trasera de la camioneta, fue un final desastroso/desagradable y...

Una idea, espero te ayude.
Por cierto si se giró, no creo que sea un camión sino una camioneta. Y pienso que "toured to" pienso que es algo diferente a se giró. Suerte!
