Diría que aquí pillar/estar con el holler trail se utiliza en sentido figurado, en tanto que estar quejándose sin parar.
Por ejemplo, en tanto que traducción de sentido,
Tu hermano no ha dejado de quejarse / ha estado quejándose toda la noche...

Sin más contexto, me da la impresión de que se refiere a una resaca etílica, o a una causada por alguna droga o drogas...

Es un tanto aventurado, pero es lo único que se me ocurre que puede tener sentido en el contexto...
