English term or phrase: messaging study
Es simplemente el título de una encuesta. ¿Alguien sabe si hay una manera específica de decirlo o si tiene un nombre determinado en castellano? Gracias.

agree  irene varela: Right. I think it´s the best option. Do refer to the following link findarticles.com/p/articles/ mi_m0EIN/is_2000_July_31/ai_63763463 that it will also give you an idea -in context- about the issue.

encuesta sobre la comunicación del "mensaje" / de mensajes

Explanation:
I can suggest two possible meanings:

-- "messaging" in the figurative sense: the medical product manufacturer has a marketing "message" for doctors and the survey assesses whether it is "getting the message across"

-- the survey is to find out whether the various ways in which the manufacturer communicates with the doctors (for instance: letters, emails ...) are efficient. I attach a link about "messaging" used in this sense:

here's another example of "messaging" used in the second sense above:

Spam -- barely a blip on businesses' radar when researcher Radicati Group conducted a corporate ***messaging study*** two years ago -- has emerged as the top priority, according to this year's report.

The context of the questions in the survey itself should help you decide which type of "messaging" is meant.

agree  Refugio: Agree, could be either in the medical context. The questionnaire itself should make clear which one.
