English term

Drives

English to Spanish Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering Filling machines
Hi everyone,

I am translating security labels for a filling machine and I just came across this sentence:

Does it refer to the machine engine (motor de la máquina)?
Maybe it could be a mechanism or gear (mecanismo), a shifter (variador) or a transmitter (transmisor).

There's another label using this term:

What do you think? Thanks in advance

I am so sorry, something went wrong while posting the question.

I have rewritten it in http://www.proz.com/kudoz/english_to_spanish/mechanics_mech_...

Thanks for the answers, maybe now you can have a more accurate idea.

Am guessing just because we dont have the sentence, but usually a drive is a unit, a bay, an input device, also an storage device, in computers it can be either external (floppy, zip, usb flash, tape) or internal (hard disk drive)
Example sentence:

Extract the disc from floppy drive "A" beacuse i saved the info in the hdd "C" drive.
