Tech/Engineering - Mechanics / Mech Engineering / Machinery used for pharmaceutical production
English term or phrase: Leads

disagree  Neil Ashby: I don't see how this fits in with the (admittedly limited and anecdotal context): "El contexto es "máquinas encapsuladoras", producción de cápsulas de gelatina blanda."

leads
1. Marketing personnas match; 2. Plaques made of lead (second noun definition)

Explanation:
1.In Marketing a lead is a subject who clicks on and passes a landing page, preferably wanting to know more about a service. It is not only limited to the Internet, but via any means of communication. Yet they leave no contact information, no name, no surname, no call back requests, etc.
A prospect is any one who not only clicks on and checks on a product, but who also fills out a form giving important information and, frequently, makes a request to be called back or given more information about the product or service offered.

2.Lead (pronounced led) is a metal (plombo in Spanish). It is usually used in the singular as it is an uncountable noun, but seeing the protean syntax and semantics of English, it may at times be incorrectly used to imply plaques or pieces of machinery made out of the metal "lead".

It is impossible for me to give you detailed explanation and interpretation without the context in which it is used.
