I´m translating a text about specialised nutrition support (SNS) and I don´t know how to translate "screening tool".

This is the text:

"Nutrition screening helps identify whether someone has malnutrition or a risk of it. Use a screening tool to gather objective data such as your patient’s height, weight, recent weight change, primary diagnosis, and concurrent disorders."

Explanation:
Consulté el 'libro gordo' del Dr. Navarro y explica que en realidad screening es la identificación/detección sistemática de grupos o examen colectivo, para dividir grupos de pacientes.

Si bien la palabra correcta es cribado para estudios clínicos, yo creo que no sería lo más apropiado en este contexto.

Método me gustó más que herramienta.

Espero que esta contribución sea otro aporte positivo.
