Hola! Estoy trabajando en una traducción para una ONG y muchas veces aparecen los términos Input, Output y Outcome. En la siguiente frase, por ejemplo, ¿cómo traducirían cada uno de ellos?

...actions or outputs, podría ser acciones y productos? la verdad es que productos no me suena en este contexto. Y más abajo, outcome-based indicators: indicadores basados en resultados?

Results-orientation: Not all countries have specific indicators and targets for programs. 80% of countries in the survey have clear objectives for each program. Most of those (75%) have specific indicators and targets for the program. Only 40% establish a current performance baseline for a program or health policy area. For most of the countries, indicators are based on actions or outputs. Some countries (e.g., Indonesia, Jordan, Mexico, Morocco, Peru, and Serbia) have outcome-based indicators such as reducing new cases of tuberculosis.

agree  Andrés Contreras: En la teoría de sistemas se denominan productos o salidas de los procesos, los cuales se evaluan con indicadores de resultados. Estos son medidas de las características de esos productos (calidad, cantidad, etc.).

neutral  Stuart and Aida Nelson: Aunque entiendo muy bien lo que dice Andrés y estoy de acuerdo, creo que en este contexto no es recomendable usar productos. Justo estaba pensando en rendimientos y veo que lo tienes incluido en tu respuesta. Con 'rendimientos' sí, estoy de acuerdo.

Explanation:

Sólo el 40% establece una línea de base para medir el desempeño actual para un programa o área de políticas de salud. Para la mayoría de los países, los indicadores se basan en acciones o rendimientos.

En este ejemplo se ve muy bien que la mejor opción aquí es rendimientos y no productos. Productos se podría confundir con algún producto material que se ofrezca.

Indicadores basados en resultados me parece muy bien.
