English term

Mass moved

English to Spanish Medical Medical: Instruments Catheters
Hi,
I found this term on a complaint summary report regarding a catheter malfunction.
The whole sentence says:
"..., when it was attempeted to remove coild and the catheter together, it seemed the coild mass moved"
Thanks!
Proposed translations (Spanish)

coild It seems like the intended word to use in this case is "coil" which is an artifact somewhat like a corkscrew, and in use lately in the embolization of arterial aneurisms. The coil is left in place, previous retrieval of the catheter used to place it. I infer that when the catheter was retrieved, the coil followed (moved) and the procedure failed.
