"cc. Abreviatura incorrecta, pero frecuente, de cubic centimeter (cm3). Además, dado que la unidad internacional de volumen no es el metro cúbico, sino el litro, debería sustituirse siempre por su unidad equivalente, el mililitro (ml). (eg. a 250 cc bottle es un frasco de 250 ml)."

A ver si algún médico te puede confirmar lo de "carps." De eso no sé nada, y tampóco he encontrado la palabra en mis diccionarios. Hice una busqueda de Google, pero no encuentro nada que me ayuda.
