Urgent! Pile 100% Polyester

Spanish translation: felpa

English term or phrase: Urgent! Pile 100% Polyester
Can you think of anything for 'pile'? as in 'pile 100% polyester'? The pile is the top soft part of the fabric e.g. if you look at a carpet, there is a backing part and a soft top part. In this case, the backing part may not be polyester.

My English dictionary says for pile: 'the soft projecting surface on velvet, carpet etc'

Any ideas for a translation to Spanish of 'Pile 100% Polyester'?

Thanks in advance.

Spanish translation:felpa
Explanation:
pile: the tufts or loops of surface fibres or yarns that project upwards from the base or backing of the carpet to form a non-matted surface .

felpa: terciopelo de penacho muy largo, formado por hilos de urdimbre

pile=felpa I´ve also found it translated as "pelo" (de alfombra, in this case)

Hope it helps!!

pelo 100% de polyester

Explanation:
I´ve changed my mind,´cause you can´t talk about "felpa de polyester"
I believe the right translation would be "pelo" or "hilo", if we´re dealing with carpet pile, of course

pelo de alfombra 100% de polyester.

felpa...?

Explanation:
According to dicc., felpa is "tejido que tiene pelo por la haz...", which, strictly speaking, would be applicable to the whole carpet. However, I think it could be used if you do not find anything better.
You could also go around the problem by saying "superficie (cara) afelpada", etc.
Good luck...
