Hi!!

This term appears in the biography of a music group. Any idea of what it means and how to translate it??

Thanks

Explanation

A white label is a promotion record (similar to a demo) which a group releases. It does not refer to the number of records sold and is different from a gold/platinum etc. disc which is what a group is awarded when sales exceed a certain number.
I would translate it as: disco de promoción
although some sites do use the term "white label" (see site below). Good luck.

Récord de Ventas

In Spanish I would say,

Récord de Ventas o Disco de Oro (meaning that it is a music group that has sold thousands of records)

Hope it helps!
