Caballeriza Explanation: En Mexico se le conoce de igual manera, donde se queda el caballo, y donde se guardan los accesorios del caballo |

sillero Explanation: The Oxford Spanish Dictionary translates tack room as "cuarto/cobertizo donde se guardan los arreos" Arreos may be substituted by the term "aperos" marked by the dictionary as mainly Latin American (I'd only heard this term said by my father who's from Spain). However, the men of my family-in-law are all "charros" so, when I asked them, told me the correct (Mexican) translation is "sillero". I'd choose either term depending on the text (whether it's more formal than colloquial). Good luck |

ver abajo Explanation: Te sugiero que decidas en función del lugar al cual está destinada la traducción. En Argentina, por ejemplo, "silla" se utiliza más para la montura de salto (tipo inglesa), en tanto "montura" es mas general, y "apero" se refiere a la montura criolla. Tal vez "cuarto o cobertizo de ..." sea más seguro. Espero que te sirva. Patricia |

cuarto de monturas Explanation: You're probably thoroughly confused by now ;o) So, here is another link for you to research... it's in French but it gives the definition of "tack room" as "cuarto de monturas" Buena Suerte! ;o) Reference: http://www.microtec.net/cgi-bin/cgiwrap/bouletjc/searvc2.pl |
