English term or phrase: wide format vs. large format
¿Podría intercambiarse formato ancho y gran formato?

Gracias a todos!

Spanish translation:No,
Explanation:
but people do it anyway. "Wide" should refer to the proportions (that is, it should mean that the printed area can have a large width relative to its height) and "large" to the dimensions. Use whichever the context and the specs seem to make appropriate.

Gracias.

Wide Format=Horizontal. Large Format=Vertical

Explanation:
You just place the sheets horizontally or vertically, according to the desired position.

formato a lo ancho y formato a lo largo

Explanation:

Hope this helps.
