English to Spanish translations [PRO]
English term or phrase: concern
The Fuller Court's concern was directly
linked to that of the framers of old. I feel "preocupación" is not the best pick in this context. Any suggestions? Thanx a million!

I don't think "preocupación" goes bad in your sentence, but this one sounds good.
I hope it helps.

la duda o las dudas

although any of the other options sound OK to me, maybe this will help you with your "concern"

"cuestión o problema por resolver"

El contexto me sugiere que en este caso "concern" no es sólo algo que inquieta o preocupa a la Corte; más bien parece una cuestión que deben aclarar.

concern = interés

El interés de la Corte Fuller estaba ligado directamente a...

In this case I prefer to use "interés" which can be applied in Spanish for the translation of this sentence.

Incumbencia, interés, asunto.

"Incumbencia" could be more appropiate, depending on the rest of the text.

I´d translate it as follows

La preocupación principal de la Corte de Fuller (or Tribunal de Fuller) tenía una relación directa con...

"Preocupación" is a correct translation...

Good luck!
