Hi, does anyone know what these three words mean in this context? This is all about wells, drilling, etc.

The typical well design is a BUILD, TURN and HOLD to a measured depth not expected to exceed 12,100 ft measured depth.

Here´s some more context:
Profiles typically involve BUILDING angle and TURNING to obtain the desired azimuth and then HOLDING to total depth.

Because of the requirement to TURN and BUILD angle, a rotary steerable assembly (RSA) will be an attractive option over more conventional means such as steerable motors.

In the BUILD and TURN sections of the wells, staying below a maximum set dog-leg severity will be important to the overall success of the well.

Where possible, conventional rotary assemblies will be considered for use in HOLD sections due to the cost savings and benefits from a hole cleaning point-of-view.
