Jag har själv skrivit ett antal application notes (på engelska) och de är korta vetenskapliga artiklar (med en gnutta marknadsföringstext) som beskriver ett (nytt) tillämpningsområde för en befintlig produkt. Målet är oftast att visa att produkten har ytterligare ett tillämpningsområde, så att man därmed kan locka fler kunder att köpa produkten. Det är INTE en instruktion, så ordet ”instruktion” bör inte användas.
