Looks like another Swedish back-translation clanger or OCR misread.

Otherwise, irrestistible or unavoidable vs. inevitable natural accidents would have been a runner.

Example sentence(s):
  • .. natural events can occur in which the natural component dominates and .... humans are in the wrong place at the wrong time. But such simple ‘accidents’ are rare.
