chillax

Definition from own experience or research:
The term, “chillax” is a modern slang term that does not have a bonafide Tagalog equivalent.

Like with such other English slang terms as “selfie” and “emo“, speakers of Tagalog expect to read terms like "chillax" in the original English, and therefore should not be over-translated into Tagalog.

Example sentence(s):
  • English: "He will temporarily let go of his cool, chillax, and down-to-earth image." Tagalog: "Pansamantalang iiwan muna niya ang kanyang cool, chillax, at down-to-earth image." - Bandera online Tagalog newspaper
