Dear native speakers, does it mean that... they concluded that because of its growth rate and error correlation mechanism the presence of the DEM/USD exchange rate reduces the unexplained volatility of the Polish exchange rates.(?)
This comes from a scientific paper on econometrics - whatever econometrics is... :) A friend who wrote it, asked me to give it a quick read over in order to find any obvious grammatical errors and rectify an awkward style. It would be much easier if I knew what econometrics is... only joking... :)
