English to English translations [PRO] Education / Pedagogy
English term or phrase:intakes
The MA course is accredited by X allowing graduates to obtain exemption from X examination for six intakes.
An "intake" is when you "take in" new people, whether it's for a course (i.e. MA) or for an examination (i.e. X here) or a job, etc. In this case, if you succeed in the MA, X (whatever it is) gives you exemption from its examination for a period of 6 cycles. I don't know wquite what that means here - maybe you do with the additional context.
