investment products managed using quantitative strategies Explanation: "Quantitative" products are usually managed using statistical models which generate suggested positions, indicate entry/exit timing and ensure that the investment remains within set boundaries (sometimes you need to add "hopefully"...). This is in contrast do discretionary investments, where investment decisions are made by a fund manager, or products "simply" tracking a particular benchmark (index). HTH, Ralf |
