Noir/Spy story kind of thing. A diary is found wiuth the following entry:

"I have to be more careful when I meet Mr X, I think Mark is up to us..."

I guess it means "I think that Mark has some suspicion about us", but I didn't find that meaning in the dictionary. Can you confirm it?
