English term (edited): aligned

in line with each other

again, it's hard to see quite what's puzzling you here? Were you in fact seeking a translation into Arabic, for example?

Sorry, I can't help with the Arabic side of things, but this is a perfectly ordinary example of its use in EN, I can't see anything unusual or problematic about it. Maybe you'd do better to ask this in EN > AR language pair?

(Would you like me to edit the language pair for you, or will you post again?)

Yes, of course, as mark says: it is taken for granted that they are in line with each other AND the viewer standing on the Earth!

Thanks, airmailrpl! LOL!
agree Mark Nathan : Although two objects can never really be in line with each other - they are in line with a third object, in this case the Earth.

Thanks, O Wise One! / Indeed, yes!
agree Demi Ebrite : What to do . . . perhaps some1 can seek what others have written about this: look up solar eclipse information in Arabic and find the term, or . . .place this question in the EN>AR KudoZ arena ~ :)
