sentence is not well written Explanation: I don't see how you can talk about the demand created by theoretical people who were never actually born. My attempt to rewrite the marked passage: …if the lack of the effective demand which could hypothetically have been created by persons under fifteen who would otherwise have been born, but were not in fact born, had been sufficient to give employment to that part of the population whose absorption into the labour force was made more difficult by this “bonus”. |
