Law/Patents - Law: Contract(s)
English term or phrase: interest in and to
All right, title and interest in and to the part of the content of the Website created by the First Party shall remain, or are hereby assigned to ownership of the First Party.

"interest in and to" appears to be a standard expression, as a web search reveals... but what does that mean exactly? "interest in..." seems straightforward enough, but "interest to..."?
Please help!

English translation:interest in
Explanation:
as I understand it, "to" has nothing do to with "interest" but with "right" and "title". The sentence should be understood, as follows: "ALL RIGHT TO the part of the content...., TITLE TO the part of the content..., AND INTEREST IN the part of the content...

Therefore, in contracts you will always find "all right, title and interest in and to..."; it is just the usual way lawyers write to avoid any repetitions.
