English to English translations [PRO] Medical - Medical (general)
English term or phrase:MAD
Findings: MAD except mild abrasion and oedema on the right maxillary area.
It's a short document containing a medical diagnosis.
What can "MAD" stand for?
The diagnosis is just: soft tissue injury ;) it is a patient who falled down.
To me, the MAD acronym rather seems like "No Special Diseases" in this context.
I can't be sure whether it is an original English text or not, besides, it's quite short. So it can be possible that the acronym is not English. The patient's name is Polish but I don't know any such abbreviation in this language.
"Moderate atopic dermatitis" - theoretically possible, but why as the first sign in an injured patient?
