Hi everyone,

I´m working on something similar, and I´ve come across this acronym:
SIRVVS.

Apparently, SIR might mean "specific information requirement". The person writing on the log says he confirmed what he saw from the boat by looking at "SIRVVS" recorded footage.
I´m at a loss about VVS.

Any help?

Hi again.
I wanted to let you that after many pages (a dozen of them handwritten) full of abbreviations, acronyms and symbols (including , , ,≤,Ø,,), I finally reached the statements of these guys where they use normal language and whole words.
The solutions to this guessing game are as follows:

ASSA => at-sea space accountability
BT => boarding team
ISI => (basic) initial safety inspection
ROA => right of approach
TOI => target of interest

Many thanks for your invaluable help, especially to Bill Gray, Jack, JC and Ken for your answers, and also to Airmail, Emma, Heinrich, Kurt and Mehmet (I hope I haven’t forgotten anyone) for your comments.

No, I haven’t. Now that you mention it, I see that it is a possibility, since the ASSA is made by steps/percentages (40, 80, 100) and seems to be connected with the tests made to the drug.

Have you ruled out "assay"? Since it's all in CAPITALS it may not be an acronym. Perhaps a way of saving on Morse code? ;] And the PCT could be percent...

Hi, Heinrich.
From the context, I am sure that “BT” must stand for the job, rank, office or profession of a person. So, I have already ruled out
boat tail, basic training, base topo, “’Break’ between message header and message content”, and many other pair or combination of words meaning things, actions, objects, animals and/or feelings.
I have no clue about the possible meaning of “ASSA”.
