agree  Mary Worby: A-levels are the exams you take at 18 which qualify you for university entrance. Normally in 3-4 subjects.

agree  Amy Williams: yes. O-Levels went out in around 1990(?) when GCSEs were introduced. Today students don't just do A-levels but "A2"s. Part of the government's initiative to widen the 16-18 curriculum and move towards a French "bac" idea. A-levels taken 16-18.
