English term or phrase: Jims

recommended dog breed: jims.

I've already asked this question (EN>IT) but this seems to be nonsensical. I'm afraid it might be a residue of a machine translation from Chinese. Any ideas? Thank you so much.

As I already posted on the En-It question:

Manufacturer is Chinese and other breeds mentioned are also not actual English terminology.
My guess is that someone Chinese attempted the English

Following up on the suggestion of something lost in translation from Chinese (with no knowledge of Chinese and the help of Google Translate):

1. "Jims" corresponds in sound to the sequence 吉姆的 in Chinese.

2. The first two of these three characters individually mean nothing. They are respectively pronounced JÍ - MŪ. The third, 的, pronounced DE, is translated as "of". So "of JI-MU" gives "Jim's".

3. However (here it gets a bit far-fetched, I concede), if you take the first and third characters and omit the second, i.e., 吉的, this, pronounced "JÍ - DE", is the Chinese name for Kyrgyzstan.

4. There is one breed of dog from Kyrgyzstan: the Taigan. It's a large hunting dog, basically a version of the Russian Barzoi.

5. This must be a large dog, with XL feet, between a Labrador (L) and an Alsatian (XXL).

6. So maybe "Jims" means "Taigans".

agree  Martin Riordan: That's pretty convincing!!! Or could it be the average foot size of dogs called Jim, hacked from their FB pages?
