it's a type of can to be used with a Schutz gun Explanation: See link below for pictures of Schutz guns. The can is made to attach to the gun. If you are translating this term into another language I would recommend leaving the name as is (schutz) because it is the name of the type of gun. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 24 mins (2004-07-06 12:22:55 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- It is a method of applying coatings (using a Schutz gun) and it differs from aerosol http://www.leakpro.com/catalogue/techdata/tech24006.html http://www.crashsupply.com/cgi-bin/csupply/fiv5981gr.html -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 26 mins (2004-07-06 12:25:21 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Trying to get the correct texture of the factory undercoating is near impossible without one of these. It is called a Schutz gun and it attaches to a can of undercoating and gives you the rough texture that the factory sprayed on. I always saw these for about $80 and could never bring myself to spend that and then I ran across this one for $14 at Harbor Freight Tools and snatched it up. They also sell the 1-quart cans of undercoating for $19 for a case of four. Makes sure you put a regulator on the gun and spray at about 10-15 lbs for the correct texture. http://www.69hemi.com/tools/page_04.htm -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 35 mins (2004-07-06 12:34:08 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Pagina nueva 1 Se aplica a pistola en forma sencilla, rápida y segura, sin herramientas ni equipos especiales, directamente sobre la pintura, fondos o metal.
