Sent a msg from a "Player"
Explanation:
"Pimp" is current slang for what used to be called a playboy. A good-looking guy that tries to hit on/score with as many of the ladies as possible. He knows what he's doing, the ladies know what he's doing and usually the "pimp" has a twinkle in his eye, cause he's not talking it all too seriously. Below is a note that's running around on MSN messages.

"You have just been PIMP KISSED! Tonight at midnight your true love will realize they like you. something good will happen to you at 1:00-4:00 pm tommorow, it could be anywere.Get ready for the biggest shock in your life. if you break this chain u will be cursed with realtionship problems for the next 10yrs. Send this to 15 people in 15min"

I'm not sure if young ladies are sending the message to guys.

-> I was just on a trip to Norway and one of my younger co-workers was, ahh, being a bit flirtatious with some dinner companions. The American girl looked at him and said, "you're such a pimp." She said it with a nice smile and laugh.

agree  airmailrpl: Results 1 - 30 of about 221 English pages for "pimp kissed". all seem to be variants of the same message

agree  Derek Gill Franßen: Yo, pimp daddy! I'm sure you're all aware of the series on MTV called "Pimp My Ride!" about turning old clunkers into thumpin' dope-ass cruisin' machines! The word 'pimp' has taken on many meanings in the last 10 years. ;-) // Sure it does!

-> Thank you Derek. I haven't watched MTV in at least 10 years...uhh, does "Dismissed" count? :)

agree  nlingua: Yo bro , you gotta tune in to MTV if you wanna be "in tune" and not "square"

-> Nlingua, thanks! Will it count for ATA Professional Development points? :) :)

agree  Refugio: Maybe it derives from the way the word is used in the English translation of "La folle de Chaillot". Has to do with trying to profit from everything.
