Law/Patents - Real Estate / Who or What can be the beneficiary of a Fideicomiso
English term or phrase: Beneficiary
I have a translation of the Mexican law regarding the permitted beneficiaries of a Fideicomiso. The translation states the beneficiary can be, "foreign individuals" or "legal entities". Does anyone know if that is a correct translation of the law regarding ownership of property requiring a Fideicomiso. If it is correct, then my next question is can a "USA created and properly registered Trust", be the Beneficiary in a Fideicomiso? Thanks

In this respect it is that of a "Fideicomisario": trustee, beneficiary of a trust, legal representative of debenture holders. Especially since you referred specifically to a "Fideicomisario," in English in your example query. This is commonly know in both Real Estate and certain facets of Law.

The response to the second question I am uncertain of as I am unfamiliar with the international law(s) between Mexico and U.S.A. of which may govern that aspect.
